Eat, drink and be merry on Art Hill with the Monty Python gang
Just across Fine Arts Drive from the highest concentration of St. Louis' high culture, the St. Louis Art Museum will display some of the finest of low culture.

To kick off the museum's July outdoor film series, the museum will show the cult-classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail on Friday, July 6. The 1975 film will be projected onto a large, inflatable screen posted halfway down Art Hill. Notably, the statue of King Louis XIV will provide the backdrop to Monty Python's horseless King Arthur.
Film-goers are invited to bring food and drink and will have the chance to sample fare from a handful of St. Louis food trucks, including local culinary heavyweights such as Pi, Seoul Taco and Lulu's Local Eatery. Prior to the show, picnicers will have a chance to listen to the music of Early Europe from 7 - 9 p.m., as the Greenleaf Singers and the St. Louis Recorder Society set the tongue-in-cheek mood.
The film will start at 9 p.m. All four showings in the month of July will be free of charge and open to the public.
