St. Louis contenders for city treasurer to appear at downtown forum
The League of Women Voters of St. Louis is moderating a public forum tonight for the seven candidates running for St. Louis city treasurer.

The forum is from 7-8:30 p.m. in the AT&T Auditorium, 801 Chestnut, downtown. The Partnership for Downtown St. Louis is co-sponsoring the forum.
Four of the contenders are Democrats competing in the Aug. 7 primary, with the victor highly favored to win in November. Those four are, in ballot order: Alfred J. Wessels, Jr.; Brian A. Wahby; Tishaura O. Jones and Jeffrey L. Boyd.

Two candidates are competing in the Green Party’s primary: Donald E. Devivo and Anthony Stevens.
The Democratic and Green Party winners will compete in November with Republican Timothy Todd Bachmann.
